TEHRAN – The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) signed a document with the Czech Republic for nuclear cooperation on Tuesday.
The document was signed during a visit by Behrooz Kamalvandi, the AEOI vice director, to Prague.
Kamalvandi also visited UJV, a nuclear research institute in the Czech Republic, and SKODA Company.
He said that the inked document sets the framework for nuclear cooperation.
Certain countries, including the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary, have shown interest in cooperation with Iran in the nuclear industry following the historic nuclear deal between Iran and great powers. The nuclear deal concluded in July 2015, took effect in January.
